Swine Flue

Boys, apologies to have to let you know but this morning my so call cold was diagnosed as Swine Flue. I contracted the virus Wed/Thurs of last week so when I was with you guys at Coventry and traing last night you may have been exposed. How contagious this is I'm not sure but I wanted to let you know as soon as possible. I apologies for being irrisponsible and coming to Coventry and traing but I thought it was just a cold or Man Flue!!!

To confirm symptoms, it started with a raging temp, sweating like a rapest which left the bed wet and convulsive shivering on the first night. The reason I looked cool on Saturday and ok last night was due to the pain killers I have been taking for my ribs, which masked the majority of the head ache and aching joints. So please accept my apologies for this an keep a watch for the symptoms. Cheers Farqs. sad

Re: Swine Flue

Don't worry about it Farqs my man you didn't know. Also worth noting that they basically just diagnose everyone with it to be safe, if they haven't taken blood or urine or anything they're probably just hedging their bets. I was diagnosed last year over the damn telephone... did my 5 days staying in my flat on the Tamiflu (which essentially did nothing as far as i could tell) and then went about my life.

I had a couple of friends that had similar experiences whereby if you have flu symptoms they tend to jump right to the swine flu diagnosis.

Get better soon fella i'm sure everything will be fine.

Re: Swine Flue

Yeah cheers mate, I have been told that I could have the virus for around 3 weeks, so off this week and back to doce next week for check to see about going back. They took erine and umed and ared about bloods but said they were fair sure. So yeah face is smooth but love life just got rougher.

I suppose you have to keep driving with a knackered back as you need to earn. Tough one mate. I'm deffo out for next weekeds game and traing but will see what they say end of the week as to if I try to play in Romford/Chelmsford and traing on the weekend of the Jambaree.

Keep on trucking mate.
